About the Role
Reporting to the Technical Training Coordinator, the successful candidate will have a preferred background in administration support and coordination of training programs and activities.

This role plays a critical role in delivering overall training and compliance requirements aligned to Horizon Powers five year business strategy.

Responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:

  • Entry of Horizon Power employees and contractors certificates, qualifications, licences, etc into the VETtrak system.
  • Monitoring ongoing compliance of employees & contractors licences, certificates, qualifications etc.
  • Liaise with the Systems Operations group regarding system activities.
  • Raising Purchase Requisitions for the Safety & Health Team.
  • Receipt Invoices for the Safety & Health Team.
  • Planning and coordination of quarterly Forum.
  • Maintain the Technical Training Schedule for the operational districts.
  • Maintain the Technical Training Matrix.
  • Schedule requested training for Horizon Power employees.
  •  

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Certificate IV Business Administration.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Database management products
  • Exposure to training and assessment policies, systems and processes
  • Preferably 4 years experience in office administration and procedures including diary management, database management, reporting, planning and scheduling
  • High level of communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent customer service and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage complexity and must be organisationally/politically astute
