We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Baristas who takes pride in their work and thrives in a busy environment. The successful candidate must be able to work well under pressure and be part of the close-nit supportive team culture.

Key Duties

  • Excel in making high standard Barista style coffees
  • Coffee machine cleaning and maintenance duties
  • Follow Compass Group OH&S procedures
  • Taking orders from customers in a friendly and engaging manner
  • General café duties as required including service and cleaning up 
  • Provide outstanding customer service
 
Job Description

The Person

  • Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
  • At least 1 years’ experience working as a Barista
  • Previous experience in a high-volume barista role
  • Bubbly and friendly person who can converse with clients
  • Always maintain a positive attitude to customer satisfaction
  • Reliable, enthusiastic and with great communication skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Must be proactive to deliver high standard coffees to increase revenue
  • Able to keep cool in fast paced environment
  • Available to work weekends
