An opportunity exists for a cadet to join CSIRO Data61.
In this role you will work with research scientists and engineers to develop engineering solutions to enhance Data61’s current projects.
This work may involve a combination of laboratory and office related activities as the cadet could be responsible for initiating laboratory and field experiments, data collection, analysis, troubleshooting and correlating results to established models under the guidance of an experienced research engineer.
This work could also involve data entry, data management, statistical analysis, literature searches and the production of reports and other publications. The cadet will uphold high standards of HSE and equipment care necessary for this role.
Salary: Study allowance of $300 during periods of full-time study + 12 weeks of paid work placement during each year of the cadetship (starting at $590 per week before tax)

Pre-Requisites/eligibility: Indigenous Cadetships are open to students who are: of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent; and currently enrolled for full-time study in their first undergraduate degree course at an Australian university.
