We're looking for a passionate and motivated HR Administrator / Aboriginal Engagement Officer to join our HR team at our Henderson location. 

This role will include heavy involvement in building and maintaining relationships with our current Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, together with implementing strategies to ensure we are an employer of choice for ATSI peoples.

Your day:

HR Administration

  • Providing administrative support for the HR team
  • Maintaining and updating employee records
  • Recruitment administration
  • Learning & Development logistical support
  • Other ad-hoc support as required

Aboriginal Engagement Officer

  • Build and maintain relationships with both ATSI employees and department managers
  • Identify and implement strategies to attract new and retain current ATSI employees
  • Facilitate cultural awareness training within the organisation
  • Provide support and advocacy for ATSI employees
  • Give input to planning, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of employee training and development plans

Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Well organised and self-motivated
  • Ability to maintain strong attention to detail while multi-tasking a constantly changing workload
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
  • Must hold a current drivers license

You must also be available to undertake pre-employment assessments and medical including Drug & Alcohol.
